This cable does its job in offering min HD capability to Wii but this doesn't solve the problem with Wii games looking horrible on HD TVs.
My recommendation: just don't bother with the cable, go get a 360 or PS3

This alternative cable was delivered promptly by the vendor and is very affordable. Sadly, on my HD system I could detect only a minor improvement over the standard cable supplied with the Wii. I don't know whether the Nintendo (expensive) version would fare any better but at this point I won't be trying to find out. Vendor very good, cable very average result on my system.

Doe's what it saya on the box, improves image displayed on the TV, not a massive improvement but doe's enhance the game experience. Worth the money.

Was looking for a component cable for my Wii, and stumbled across this one. Happily I can say that it seems to deserve it's previous good reviews. No it didn't arrive in some fancy blister pack or anything, but who cares at this price? Plugged it in, and have to admit that I can see a definate improvement in quality over the standard AV cable. All in all, for the price, I don't think you'll find better.

I was very dissapointed when this arrived as this was not the genuine WII part as stated in the desciption, my own fault did not read the reviews and put the trust in the seller. BEWARE
