These batteries are excellent value and work perfectly in the lumix TZ7 in spite of the so called 'chip' protection. Definitely 'a buy'.

Purchased these with a new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10. I was initially sceptical that these would work as there are all sorts of horror stories about only Panasonic originals working with their cameras. I purchased on the strength of positive feedback from other reviewers, and thankfully, my initial scepticism was proved ill-founded.
Ordered on the Saturday, received on the Tuesday so can't fault the delivery!
Both batteries came partially charged which enabled me to test them, and both worked. Both are now fully charged (using the charger that comes with the Lumix) and seem to be working fine. I've taken about 30 photos, reviewed them, shot about 30 seconds of video and played with settings and battery is still showing full charge (this is with GPS off, so results may be different if this is running).
Recommended!

Batteries shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition as promised.
I tried the batteries in my TZ10 to ensure that they were compatible and both batteries worked straight out of the box and even came with a partial charge.
Battery life seems very good, at least as good as the Panasonic original, if not better!
Whole heartedly recommend you purchase these batteries as they will save you a fortune on the Panasonic originals and there is no loss in performance.
Five star rating for a smooth, easy transaction and a faultless product.

I needed a spare battery for my new DMC-TZ10. Was a little wary bacause of warnings I'd seen about using non-Panasonic batteries, but I needn't have worried. Both batteries worked fine and didn't even need charging because they were already fully charged.
Excellent value for the two batteries, less than half the price of a single Panasonic.
